CCRT is Official

This is my public service announcement to say that the "I"s are dotted and the "T"s are crossed and I have passed all the requirements for my Certificate in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy.

I am only the third Australian to meet these requirements, and the first to have a clinic focused just on canine sports medicine, rehabilitation and conditioning . Also I am the first to travel Australia wide to help dogs and owners receive the highest level of musculoskeletal assessment, therapies and treatments.

I have spoken at conferences held by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the Center of Veterinary Education. I have held over thirty workshops across six states and worked with hundreds of owners and pets. I have also worked with a large variety of animals, cats, birds and deer have all proved delightful challenges.

It has been a steep learning curve in the veterinary field and as a small business owner. And it is my amazing clients who have supported me, renewed my enthusiasm and generally made the last few years awesome.  I don’t think I can describe how amazing it feels when I hear that one of my current clients has mentioned my work to one of their friends and I get to offer my assistance to another pet in need.

There are more plans for further training in the future to offer additional services and advancements. I also hope to contribute to the scientific evidence of the field which is so sorely needed.

Thank you so much for your support so far, and I cant wait to see what 2016 brings.
